Before we get to the rankings, it’s time to get real with you people. So let’s sit down and get to business.
Here at First Down Town we pride ourselves in being professional journalists bloggers analysts people with an internet connection. But, despite our clearly enormous amount of professionalism and excellence displayed in the brief history of this website I know what you’re thinking: “Self,” you think, “In a week when both Nebraska and Arkansas lose, will the heavy biases of First Down Town’s esteemed founders allow them to post serious rankings at their normal level of excellence?”
Well, first of all I hope that question was facetious, because, seriously, how could you even question us. I thought we were tight, bro. But secondly, the answer is yes. Maybe even more than “yes”. Maybe even a “hell yes”, but I’m not going to go as far as to say that because that would seem pretentious.
All I’m saying is, just because college football is the worst thing ever, do not think we didn’t pour every last modicum of professionalism, effort and research into these rankings. You know, like we do every week.

So, there’s your rankings. Please feel free to print them and paste them onto your wall/refrigerator/body. (and by “feel free,” I mean “I will cry myself to sleep every night for the rest of my life if you don’t.”) Also, Helpful Reminder: college basketball tips off Wednesday, November 10th!
